Shots of the pier area. Engineers walk back and forth. A man carries a plank of wood towards LST. Lumber is piled on the ground. Int, engineers building compartments in LSTs in order to keep the PWs in smaller groups (underexposed). LSs, prisoners file off stake and platform truck and load into LCU. MLS, Pan showing partitioned deck on LCU. Cut in with the above are scenes of trucks arriving, men filing off, going aboard. H MLS, prisoners file into compartments on LCU. LS, USS Seminole in harbor. Prisoners climb up ship's ladder from landing craft to the Seminole. Men file out of compartments to the floating barge and then board ship. Views, Seminole anchored in the harbor taken from a landing craft. The Capt of the Seminole talking to Cdr C.S. Brouilette. Shot from the hold of vessel as prisoners come down. Guard with rifle at top of ladder. HS, prisoners go down ladder to the compartments. Americans with rifles stand guard as prisoners walk on the deck and go below.
